I had a pretty bad experience, I came in for a shake and they said it was struts. I know for a fact that wasn’t it bc the struts were just replaced. Then they said it was my cv axle that was loose. They apparently did a full inspection but failed to see that I had a tire delaminated in the back that blew up down the road, then to add to it they failed to see that my brakes were so low that they started to grind a few days after I had my van towed bc of the blow out. In my honest opinion I’d stay away from this location. They are charging a premium price for amateur work. It’s so frustrating that I had such a bad experience here. I won’t be recommending this place to anyone any time soon. They need to get their stuff together and figure it out. And on top of it I wasn’t allowed to take the inspection paperwork. But I did take a fast picture of it. No where on the inspection did they say I needed brakes or tires. The whole reason I came in to begin with. I ended up spending my money at another shop that was significantly less. Also when my tires were replaced the shake went away completely. These guys are scammers.

7/13/26 I initially went to Brakes Plus to have my brakes bled. During a phone call before my appointment, I was told that my driver's side rear caliper was seized. However, it wasn't until I arrived at the shop that they informed me I would also need a brake hose replaced. While that was unexpected, I understood that additional issues can sometimes be found during an inspection. What concerned me most was that I was then told my master cylinder seals needed to be replaced and was quoted approximately $1,300 for the repair. Since that seemed like a significant expense, I decided to get a second opinion from a different mechanic before moving forward. After inspecting my vehicle at Boubin my mechanic told me the master cylinder was completely fine and did not need to be replaced. That experience left me feeling frustrated and questioning whether I was being sold repairs that weren't actually necessary. As a woman, it's especially discouraging to feel like you're being upsold or pressured into expensive services without clear justification. We have been taking our vehicles to Brakes Plus for oil changes, tire rotations and brakes. We have always been happy with the honesty of staff and quality of care. Today we went in for a scheduled appointment only to be told it would be an hour wait. We checked in and said we would run an errand and be back in 30 min (waiting area did not have enough seating). We ran errands and came back only to told wait was now that long or longer. Realistically they probably couldn't get to car until tomorrow. This was middle of the afternoon 3 hours before close. Girl at counter said most of the appointments were done online and there is no way to track them. We called in yesterday morning to make appt and were treated as basically a walk in. They really need to fix the online scheduling. I understand getting behind a bit and waiting a bit but this was crazy. They may have lost a loyal 5 year customer.

Levi and the team there were really great!! We had a last minute issue with our IAT sensor during our cross country drive, and they were able to get us in same day! They fixed the problem we took it in for and were very thorough and efficient. Unfortunately as we were leaving, they noticed another issue that needed to be handled by the dealer, but we were so grateful even for the communication and knowledge of what the problem was. Ive been to other places like this and they were only good with basic things. I was very pleased with this place! Very kind, efficient, great communication, and competent !
